Growing up, I was often told I should be a lawyer, largely due to my argumentative nature. Believing I was going to be the next great American novelist, I rejected all such suggestions and enthusiastically pursued my B.A. degree in English, minoring in criminology (for my writing). In my final year of undergrad, I decided to pursue my law degree after all. Always the eternal optimist, I believed I could be a lawyer, a mom, and a writer. Somehow twenty-plus years have gone by while my dream of being a writer sat unattended under a pile of dust and regret on a shelf in the dark recesses of my mind. Until now.

In late 2020, thanks to social distancing and quarantining, I reignited my passion for writing and completed two novels, both of which are in the mystery-thriller genre with a strong female protagonist. I have recently started the third book in the series.

When I'm not practicing law, I spend my time writing, usually with a nice Cabernet in hand, or  with family and friends.
